Delete everything, any time.

1.From inside the app

Open Your studio → Privacy → Delete my data. You can delete everything, or only withdraw from marketing while keeping your account. Deletion fans out to every Strand service that holds your data - your account, client book, messages, voice notes and photos - and the app confirms only once every service has actually finished. You can export your client book first; export is on the same screen.

2.By email

Email privacy@strand.style from the address linked to your account, or include enough detail for us to verify it is you - we will never delete an account on an unverified request. We action verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

3.If you connected Instagram

If you signed in with Instagram or connected Instagram messaging, you can also remove Strand from your Instagram account: in Instagram, go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, and remove Strand. Meta then notifies us automatically, we delete the data linked to your Instagram connection, and you receive a confirmation code with a status link you can use to check that the deletion completed.

4.What deletion covers, and what remains

Deletion is always free of charge. It permanently removes your account, profile, client book, formulas, photos, voice notes, message history and drafts. Two narrow things remain, because the law requires them: financial records we must keep under South African tax and company law, and a record of the deletion itself - the fact that you asked and that we complied, which contains no personal content beyond what is needed to prove it happened.
